High recovery rate, automated control, environmentally friendly tail gas recovery, and general contracting services for the entire project of industrial phosphate ore manufacturing plants.

 

Product Overview

Our yellow phosphorus (P₄) electric furnace production line adopts the classic submerged arc furnace high-temperature reduction process, the world’s mainstream mature technology for industrial elemental phosphorus manufacturing. Using three core raw materials: phosphate rock, metallurgical coke and silica flux, raw materials are mixed proportionally and sent into sealed electric furnace, heated to 1350–1500°C under reducing atmosphere to complete redox reaction, extract gaseous tetraphosphorus (P₄), then go through dust removal, cooling condensation, purification refining to obtain high-purity industrial yellow phosphorus solid.
 
This complete production system covers raw material pretreatment, batching feeding, submerged arc furnace reaction, phosphorus vapor condensation & recovery, crude phosphorus refining, tail gas CO comprehensive utilization, water quenching slag treatment, closed safety storage and automatic packaging. We provide 5,000–100,000 tons annual capacity customized turnkey solutions, supporting small pilot plant, medium industrial line and large-scale integrated phosphorus chemical base construction, fully compliant with international industrial safety and environmental emission standards.
 

Core Production Principle & Chemical Reaction

Core Raw Material Function

  1. Phosphate Rock: Main phosphorus source, main component fluorapatite , provides elemental phosphorus for final P₄ product
  2. Metallurgical Coke: Dual function as reducing agent & conductive medium, provides carbon for reduction reaction and conducts electric heat for furnace melting
  3. Silica (SiO₂>97%): Flux, reduces melting point of calcium slag, combines calcium oxide to form fusible calcium silicate slag for easy separation
  • High temperature inside furnace: 1350~1500°C, three-phase graphite electrode heating
  • Phosphorus escapes as gaseous P₄, cooled and condensed into liquid yellow phosphorus under water seal
  • Byproducts: calcium silicate furnace slag, phosphorus iron, high-concentration CO tail gas, all recyclable for secondary economic benefit
