Product Overview
Our Phosphorus Trichloride (PCl3) Production Line is a professional fine phosphorus chemical manufacturing system. This plant adopts the classic liquid yellow phosphorus and chlorine gas phase synthesis process, which is the most mature and stable technology for industrial PCl3 production worldwide.
Different from furnace reduction or neutralization processes, PCl3 is produced through low-temperature exothermic chlorination reaction. The whole production is carried out in fully sealed negative-pressure reactors to ensure safety and zero leakage. After synthetic reaction, crude liquid goes through distillation, impurity removal and fine purification to obtain high-purity industrial-grade phosphorus trichloride. The complete line supports capacity customization and can be perfectly connected with yellow phosphorus plant to form a full fine phosphorus chemical industrial chain.
Core Chemical Reaction Principle
Phosphorus trichloride is synthesized by continuous reaction between liquid yellow phosphorus and chlorine gas under controlled low temperature:
- Raw Materials: Industrial liquid yellow phosphorus, high-purity chlorine gas
- Reaction Condition: Low temperature, sealed negative pressure, cooling circulating control
- Main Product: Industrial grade phosphorus trichloride (PCl3) transparent liquid
- By-product Control: Strict chlorine proportion control avoids excessive reaction to prevent POCl3 and PCl5 impurities
