Source: Pyrite is used to produce concentrated sulfuric acid, which reacts with phosphate ore to yield the main product, wet‑process phosphoric acid H₃PO₄
Capacity: 5‑40 ten thousand tons per year
Complete Process Flow of Wet‑Process Phosphoric Acid Production Line
1. Phosphate Rock Pretreatment: Crush and grind phosphate rock to prepare phosphate rock slurry;
2. Extraction Reaction: Feed phosphate rock slurry and concentrated sulfuric acid into the extraction tank for constant‑temperature extraction reaction to produce phosphoric acid and dihydrate calcium sulfate crystals;
3. Filtration and Separation: Perform solid‑liquid separation with a disc filter. Crude wet‑process phosphoric acid is obtained from the liquid phase, while the solid phase is phosphogypsum (CaSO₄·2H₂O), which is washed multiple times to recover phosphoric acid;
4. Phosphoric Acid Concentration: Concentrate crude phosphoric acid by evaporation to obtain high‑concentration phosphoric acid;
5. Purification and Refining (Optional Section): Remove fluorine, sulfur and metallic impurities to produce refined phosphoric acid;
6. Fluorine Recovery: Recover HF generated in the reaction to produce fluorosilicic acid and hydrofluoric acid;
7. By‑product Treatment: Wash phosphogypsum to remove impurities for comprehensive utilization in building materials;
8. Finished‑product Storage: Store phosphoric acid in storage tanks.
Characteristics of Wet‑Process Phosphoric Acid Production Line
1. The dihydrate wet‑process phosphoric acid is the mainstream technology worldwide, and can be equipped with self‑owned pyrite‑based sulfuric acid production units;
2. The product can be directly supplied to ammonium phosphate units, or concentrated and purified to produce industrial/food‑grade phosphoric acid;
3. EPC turnkey services: process package, special anti‑corrosion equipment, installation and commissioning, personnel training
