Complete Process Flow of Copper Sulfate Production Line
Raw materials: concentrated sulfuric acid, metallic copper / copper ore
1. Raw material pretreatment: crush and grind copper ore; if metallic copper is used, cut it into copper sheets / copper granules.
2. Acid‑dissolving leaching reaction: leach copper / copper ore through reaction with concentrated sulfuric acid to obtain crude copper sulfate solution.
3. Impurity removal and purification: remove heavy‑metal impurities such as iron, lead, zinc and nickel; perform pressure filtration to separate residues and obtain purified copper sulfate solution.
4. Evaporation and concentration: heat and evaporate the purified copper sulfate solution for concentration.
5. Cooling crystallization: cool the concentrated solution to precipitate blue copper sulfate pentahydrate crystals.
6. Centrifugal separation: separate crystals from mother liquor; recycle the mother liquor back to the evaporation process.
7. Washing and drying: wash the crystals and dry them at low temperature to obtain finished copper sulfate pentahydrate. Further calcination can be carried out to prepare anhydrous copper sulfate.
8. Waste gas treatment: absorb sulfur dioxide; conduct harmless treatment of waste residues.

1. It can directly consume concentrated sulfuric acid self‑produced by the acid‑making unit to reduce raw material costs;
2. Flexible raw material options: both metallic copper and copper ore can be used as feedstock;
3. By adjusting the purification depth, copper sulfate of agricultural fungicide grade and high‑purity electroplating grade can be produced simultaneously;

1. Agricultural Fungicide (Agricultural Grade): Core raw material for Bordeaux mixture, used to control fungal diseases in fruit trees and crops, with insecticidal and bactericidal effects;
2. Electroplating Industry (High‑purity Electroplating Grade): Main salt for acidic copper‑plating electrolytes, for copper plating on circuit boards and hardware parts;
