Source: 20% concentrated ammonia water is prepared from raw‑material liquid ammonia NH₃ and water H₂O; concentrated ammonia water absorbs CO₂ to generate ammonium carbonate solution; further introduction of CO₂ converts it into ammonium bicarbonate solution; solid finished ammonium bicarbonate is obtained through centrifugal separation and drying.

Main Uses of Ammonium Bicarbonate
1. Agriculture (Primary Use): A quick‑acting nitrogen fertilizer suitable for all types of crops, usable as base fertilizer and top‑dressing. It is low‑cost and fit for field crops.
2. Industrial Uses: Raw material for food leavening agents, pharmaceutical manufacturing, electroplating, and raw material for rubber foaming.
Process Flow of Ammonium Bicarbonate Production Line
1. Preparation of Concentrated Ammonia Water: Ammonia gas NH₃ is absorbed by water H₂O to produce 20% concentrated ammonia water.
2. Ammonium Carbonate Preparation: Concentrated ammonia water absorbs carbon dioxide CO₂ to form ammonium carbonate ((NH₄)₂CO₃) solution.
3. Carbonization for Ammonium Bicarbonate Generation: CO₂ is continuously fed into ammonium carbonate solution for carbonization reaction to obtain ammonium bicarbonate NH₄HCO₃ solution.
4. Crystallization and Centrifugal Separation: Ammonium bicarbonate crystallizes, and the mother liquor is separated by centrifuge.
5. Drying and Finished‑product Packaging: Crystals are dried to get finished ammonium bicarbonate, which is then packaged and put into storage.
Process Characteristics of Ammonium Bicarbonate Production Line
1. Simple process with relatively low investment; adopts by‑product CO₂ from synthetic ammonia as raw material.
2. High anti‑corrosion requirement due to ammonia‑corrosive medium.
3. The product is prone to decomposition; temperature shall be controlled during production and storage.
