Process Logic: Hydrochloric acid is produced by potassium chloride ion‑membrane electrolysis. Hydrochloric acid reacts with aluminum hydroxide Al(OH)₃ to prepare poly‑aluminum chloride (PAC).
Main Applications of Poly‑aluminum Chloride
1. Municipal sewage treatment and tap‑water purification: flocculation and sedimentation to remove suspended solids, turbidity and chromaticity;
2. Industrial wastewater treatment: printing and dyeing, papermaking and mine wastewater for phosphorus removal and heavy‑metal removal;
3. Oilfield and chemical industries: sludge dewatering;
4. Papermaking industry: retention and drainage aid.
Process Characteristics of Poly‑aluminum Chloride Production Line
1. Equipped with a combined chlorine‑potassium‑alkali unit, self‑produced hydrochloric acid is used as raw material, delivering remarkable raw‑material cost advantages;
2. Aluminum hydroxide acid‑dissolving process yields products with favorable heavy‑metal indicators, suitable for producing drinking‑water‑grade PAC;
