Complete Process Flow for Calcium Chloride Production Line as By‑product of Ammonia‑Soda Process
Ammonia‑soda soda ash main process produces ammonium chloride NH₄Cl mother liquor → add slaked lime Ca(OH)₂ (prepared by limestone calcination‑hydration)
2NH₄Cl+Ca(OH)₂ = CaCl₂+2NH₃↑+2H₂O
1. Reaction and ammonia distillation: Ammonium chloride mother liquor reacts with slaked lime to distill out NH₃. The recovered ammonia gas is recycled back to the main soda ash system.
2. Obtain calcium chloride mother liquor, perform sedimentation, slag removal and purification.
3. Multiple‑effect evaporation and concentration.
4. Crystallization granulation / flaking.
5. Centrifugal separation and drying.
6. Cooling and forming to obtain dihydrate / anhydrous calcium chloride finished products; treatment of mother liquor residues.
