Source: Prepared by the reaction of concentrated sulfuric acid and aluminum hydroxide
Capacity: 1‑15 ten thousand tons per year
Complete Process Flow of Aluminum Sulfate Production Line
1. Raw Material Feeding: Aluminum hydroxide powder is fed into the reactor, and concentrated sulfuric acid from the acid‑making unit is fed in accordance with the proportion;
2. Acid‑Dissolution Reaction: Neutralization and acid‑dissolution reaction proceeds under stirring with heat release, and the reaction temperature is controlled;
3. Sedimentation and Residue Removal: After the reaction is completed, the material is transferred to the settling tank to remove insoluble impurities;
4. Solid‑Liquid Diversion
• Liquid Product: Liquid aluminum sulfate is obtained directly after filtration and sent to storage tanks;
• Solid Product: The refined liquid is delivered to the evaporation and concentration system, followed by cooling crystallization, slicing / granulation after concentration;
5. Solid‑Liquid Separation and Drying: Solid aluminum sulfate is cooled, crushed and screened;
6. Finished Product Packaging and Warehousing; A small amount of acidic waste gas is treated by simple alkali liquor absorption.
Characteristics of the Aluminum Sulfate Production Line
1. It can be directly matched with pyrite‑based sulfuric acid production units to consume concentrated sulfuric acid on‑site and reduce raw material costs;
2. Flexible solutions: only the liquid section can be deployed, or the complete set of liquid plus solid sections; it can produce ordinary aluminum sulfate as well as low‑iron aluminum sulfate;
3. Mature technology with EPC turn‑key service: process package, equipment manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and personnel training, suitable for water treatment chemical projects
Uses of Aluminum Sulfate Products
1. Water treatment and purification (core application): Used as a flocculant for municipal sewage, industrial wastewater and drinking water treatment to remove suspended solids, turbidity and partial phosphorus;
2. Paper‑making industry: Sizing precipitant for paper;
3. Chemical industry: For producing ammonium alum and potassium alum;
4. Building materials: Waterproof accelerating agent for concrete;
5. Printing and dyeing: Mordant.
