Name: Potassium Chloride Production Equipment
Source: Sylvite raw ore with 20‑30% KCl content. After crushing, the ore is dissolved in high‑temperature hot water. Solid‑liquid separation removes gangue. Potassium chloride is precipitated via cooling and crystallization of the solution. The mother liquor is recycled by heating for reuse. High‑purity potassium chloride finished products are obtained through centrifugation and drying. This process is suitable for producing high‑grade potassium chloride products.
Process Route of Potassium Chloride Production Line (Sylvite Dissolution‑Crystallization Method)
1. Crushing Process: Sylvite ore (containing 20%‑30% KCl) is crushed into fine ore particles of 5 mm.
2. High‑Temperature Dissolution: Fine ore particles are dissolved in hot water at 100℃. Potassium salts dissolve into the liquid phase, while insoluble impurities form gangue.
3. Solid‑Liquid Separation: Leachate and gangue are separated. The gangue is filtered and discharged as waste residue.
4. Cooling Precipitation and Crystallization: The high‑temperature leachate is cooled. As the solubility of potassium chloride decreases, potassium chloride crystal slurry is precipitated, and slime impurities are separated and discharged.
5. Centrifugal Separation: The crystal slurry undergoes centrifugal separation to obtain potassium chloride crystals. Potassium chloride mother liquor is separated out, heated, and returned to the dissolution process for recycling.
6. Drying for Finished Products: Potassium chloride crystals are dried to produce potassium chloride finished products.

1. Chemical Industry: Used to prepare potassium‑based salts such as potassium hydroxide, potassium carbonate and potassium chlorate, serving as a core raw material for chlor‑alkali‑potash‑alkali units.
2. High‑Grade Agricultural Potassium Fertilizer: Raw material for high‑purity compound fertilizers; its low‑impurity property makes it suitable for cash crops.
