We provide customized sulfur burning sulfuric acid plants with capacity from 10kt/a to 300kt/a (100kt/a standard model). The whole set includes sulfur melting unit, sulfur furnace & conversion unit, dry-absorption section, waste heat recovery system, DCS automatic control and finished acid storage.
Raw material: ≥99.9% solid bright sulfur; Finished product: 98.1–98.5% industrial sulfuric acid complying with GB534-2014, optional oleum & liquid SO₃ units.
Annual running time: 8000 hours (3-shift continuous operation).
Core Process Technology
Adopt mature integrated process: dynamic sulfur melting + liquid sulfur pressure filtration + 3+1 four-bed double contact double absorption (DCDA) + fan arranged behind drying tower + full waste heat steam recovery.
Sulfur Melting & Purification: Low-energy rapid melting tank with filter to remove impurities, stable liquid sulfur supply at 135–148℃.
Complete Sulfur Combustion: Dual atomization (mechanical + hot air) via sulfur gun for full sulfur burning.
High Conversion Unit: Two-stage 3+1 conversion design, SO₂ conversion ≥99.8%, ultra-low tail gas emission.
Advanced Dry-Absorption: Three-tank two-circuit acid cycle, medium-high temperature absorption restrains acid mist, reduces SO₂ in acid and exhaust.
Max Waste Heat Utilization: Waste heat boiler, high/low temperature superheaters & heat pipe economizers produce up to 15t/h 3.82MPa superheated steam for heating or power generation.
Post-drying-tower Fan Layout: Boost heat recovery and improve workshop environment.

Tail gas SO₂ ≤400mg/Nm³, far below international standards; only 50 tons sulfur slag generated yearly for recycling; nearly zero wastewater under normal operation. Noise controlled below 85dB(A) with silencers and isolation design.
